With the close of another month comes my selection of products that really did good things for me over the last four weeks. 

Everything from color to under eye coverage and that added bit of hydration to make these last few weeks of lingering bullshit winter feel a little less parched.

The Best of The Drugstore Feb 2015 | TheUnanimousMolly

After my recent beauty clear out I finally started to realize that there were a lot of budget conscious beauty bits that I wasn't reaching for in favor of my other slightly pricier options.

Armed with this new information and a MUCH smaller collection I thought it would be a good time to go through the good stuff that was left and pick out all of the drugstore goodies that had earned a spot in the new lineup. 

Some of these are old, some of them are new but all of them are honestly some of the more affordable pieces that I will reach for on the regular.

Today I'm excited to finally share all of the goodies I've picked up over the month of February. I've mentioned in a few posts (too many?) that I was nixing the beauty spending in the month of January and barring a single infraction it was a pretty wild success. 

So as a reward I went ahead and treated myself to a few things. Better yet? I didn't break the bank in my excitement to spend again.

One month down!

2015 has gotten off to kind of a rough start around the Unanimous Molly headquarters but there were some pretty stellar things that went down in the month of January. 

I turned 26! I was also sick for my birthday which was a huge bummer but, in retrospect, it earned me a much needed break from my life and kind of a forced system reboot.

Happy November!

I hope everyone had an exciting and safe Halloween.

I definitely went for it this year and had SO.MUCH.FUN!

But alas, the best month of the year is now behind us and it's time to brace your buns for the oncoming assault of Holiday themed commercials before you've even had a single forkful of stuffing.

Autumn/Winter Skincare Edit | TheUnanimousMolly

So a couple weeks back I talked about my Autumn beauty edit and all of the color cosmetics that I would be reaching for as the weather starts to cool but, today we're going to dive into skin.

My cold weather foundation routine may not change but my skincare definitely does. Especially now as my mid-late twenties are approaching I am noticing pretty different textures in my skin than in previous winters.

So with my hydration in mind I raided my stash, made one teeny little Sephora order and have reached a verdict on my winter skin.

The Fall Beauty Edit

So every season I like to take stock of my beauty routine and swap out my currents things for some more "seasonally appropriate products."

Now the whole idea of seasonally appropriate is a little dumb to me but I do like to think about the things I typically like to wear or think I will want to wear as the seasons change.

 I bought stuff! I am pretty happy with this selection of things as I was a responsible(ish) adult about my purchases and my budget and bought things I had been really anxious to try for a while.

 Don't you just love the feeling of finishing something? 

SO. GOOD. 

In my humble opinion it's even better when it's a body lotion, or a powder, or a serum or one of the other million beauty things that seem to last forever. As someone who is consistently looking for a reason to try something new, it's nice when you actually make space in your collection for new things.

Jewelery Collection, Storage and, Organization

Last weekend I got the sudden urge to purge. This happens every once and a while when I realize that I'm not wearing or using or reaching for things and I just try to pass them along.

 I am a New Yorker, space is expensive.

So I picked the dressers. I went through and got rid of everything that was worn through and threw it out and anything that was in good enough shape gets donated or passed along to friends. The fun part though ended up being the jewelery. It was long overdue for some attention and with overflowing glass candy bowls and odd earrings on every surface of my apartment I thought a new storage set up was in order. 

I got a few nice bargain pieces from Marshalls, an old display piece from Urban Outfitters, a metal storage box from Target's holiday collaboration last year and an empty diptyque candle jar and I was in business.

Me personally; I hate summer but, I have managed to compile a small selection of things that definitely make the whole experience bearable. If you love this time of year by all means enjoy but as for me...is it October yet?!
