October offers many things for beauty lovers to get excited about.
Halloween makeup (obvs) upping your skincare stash for the cold, and last but not least the advent of ALL the Holiday gift sets.
It's early yet but there are some really beautiful things floating out there in retail land and so you don't miss out I've compiled the best bang for your buck.
Juliette Has A Gun has been an up and coming niche fragrance brand for a few years and have some really beautiful and unique scents to choose from. If you had been toying with the idea of testing out some of their offerings now would be the time. For 15$ you get 8 vials to test drive. If you don't live near a Sephora where you can test the brand this is a great affordable way to do so.
Bite basically kills it every year with the Holiday goodies and 2015 is no exception. The only thing about this year that is different is that they're featuring my favorite formula in their value set. The Matte Lip Crayon in 4 shades in a cute tin perfect for stuffing stockings or in your handbag. I'm sold.
In the slightly more impractically wrapped category you have the new NARS x Steven Klein "An Abnormal Female" lip bullet. I can't say I know exactly what qualifies one as an abnormal female but it's hard to deny the packaging is kind of to die for. On the inside you have a selection of Velvet Matte Lip Pencils that run the gamut from nude to deep red. A great formula x3 plus boss holiday package equals add to cart.
Becca is another brand that does great budget friendly value sets around holiday time and this year is not different. This year you get one pressed opal Shimmering Skin Perfector and one in the classic liquid formula. For $25 you get two ways to play or 2 products to layer to make sure you're glow lasts all day. The best part is these products pack so much punch that even the mini size will last you practically forever.
Last up is more of a cool new find than a value set but it is in palette form and if you're looking for a new formula this could be a cool thing to check out. From Chosungah 22 the new Dong Gong Minn Jello Color Eyeshadow Palette has six new shades in a jelly-like texture for a smooth sheer wash of color. Despite the strange delivery it's an innovative item that deserves a bit of love.
Whether you're looking for a gift for someone else or a way to test drive things on a budget there is no better time than gift set time to dive in head first. What are you trying this Fall?
