Crystal All the Things

I have been majorly jewelry obsessing over here this Summer. Ever since I started shopping to go on vacation I've been preoccupied with updating my wardrobe and investing in some nicer pieces to add to the line up.

No while the clothing arena is a little slow going right nowI've definitely developed a definitive preference when it comes to my personal decoration.

All the crystals and ALL the good vibes.

The first and most recent addition to my lineup is by long time crystal purveyor (and recently hitched) Barbara C. Pellegrino or BPC Jewelry. I've been following her on Instagram for nearly 3 years and longing after her wears ever since. Recently I finally caved and picked up the The Smoky Wolf on a Brass Chain. This style is currently out of stock but she replenishes often and has many similar options available here.

Check her out on Instagram too for the odd coupon code.  I think the Winter Quartz Ring is next on my to do list from her.

Next up is a total budget find from good ol' Etsy. Shop Stardust is a handmade operation out of the Netherlands that offers some really unique stone options at a very reasonable price. The first thing I spotted in her shop was this Sulfur Specimen ring set. It's a bright canary yellow color and came with a small midi ring featuring some clear crystal bits.

Now quality wise these aren't going to last you as long as the BCP items but they are beautiful, accessibly priced and Leanne's customer service is spot on. If you're not sold on the 50-100$ price tag than Shop Stardust is for you.

The last and final option is my personal favorite. DIY baby. These little amethyst studs were a treat I made myself almost two years ago and they are still going strong. As a New Yorker I have great options when it comes to bead stores and locations that provide jewelry making supplies. If you aren't in the same situation than the internet is 100% your friend. Etsy has some amazing and affordable options for stones here and here. And Ebay is my go to for things like earring backs and posts, jump rings and chain. To round things off some Krazy Glue or E6000 (work in a well ventilated space!) are  great options for getting things to stick.

It sounds like a lot of supplies but even on a budget I would wager you could get a simple pair of earrings done for under $20.

However you choose to do it I vote you give crystal jewelry a try. It's part boho, a little edgy and my favorite statement making kind of jewelry.
